During the renovation of Turku's Hotel Caribia, elegant Liune wooden veneer doors were installed. All the space in the hotel rooms is fully utilized because Liune's Vuori (D6) doors slide into the partition wall, making every square meter available to hotel guests.

 

From a sound insulation perspective, Liune doors are an ideal choice for hotel rooms because their solid MDF material isolates sound up to 30% better than a standard hinged door. This allows, for example, undisturbed sleep in the bedroom while someone may want to watch television in the living room area.

In 2017, a new daycare center called "Taika" was completed in Seinäjoki, providing space for around two hundred children. The daycare center aimed to enhance functionality and safety, and to achieve this, Liune sliding doors were chosen. These sliding doors do not take up space, and open doors do not pose safety risks, such as collisions or fingers getting caught between them. For areas prone to moisture, Liune's moisture-resistant and durable laminate doors were selected, which were color-matched to the wall.

Our Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) doors are made from CE-marked and M1-classified material, and they are PEFC-certified. The thickness and number of layers influence its properties, such as sound performance. We use a multi-layer structure, where the core of the door is a 24 mm frame, around which 9 mm slats are glued crosswise.
